Panasonic EVA-1 5.7K

€150.00

EVA1 features Panasonic’s high-end 5.7 K Super 35 mm sensor to achieve 4K/10-bit 4:2:2 images from an extremely compact body. With a wide 14-stop dynamic range, V-Log gamma, and wide-color-gamut V-Gamut colorimetry inherited from the VariCam Series, images are infused with the cinematic VariCam Look. Dual native 800/2500 ISO offers impressive sensitivity with low noise, while high-frame-rate recordings at 4K/60 fps and 2K/240 fps beckon with new creative possibilities, as does the IR (infrared ray) cut-filter ON/OFF mechanism for surreal IR footage in Cinematography mode.

The Panasonic AU-EVA1 Compact 5.7K Super 35 Cinema Camera is a flexible, high-quality cinema camera system. Key features include: 17.25MP Dual Sensitivity 5.7K S35 sensor Internal 4:2:2 10-bit in 4K DCI, UHD, and full HD MOV or AVCHD (4:2:0 8-bit) recording options or output RAW Capture up to 60P in 4K, 120p in HD, or 240p in HD using a 4/3" sensor area 5.7K Image Sensor. The Panasonic AU-EVA1 Compact 5.7K Super 35 Cinema Camera is based around a high-resolution 5.7K sensor that can produce oversampled 4K footage. This gives you sharper images and more accurate colors than native 4K sensors. Dual Native ISO. The 5.7K sensor incorporates Dual Native ISO, which increases sensitivity and maintains a high signal-to-noise ratio. This camera’s standard native ISO is 800, but you can switch it to 2500 if you’re shooting in low light. V-Log and V-Gamut Capture. The EVA1 includes both V-Log and V-Gamut capture. The former gives you curve characteristics similar to those of negative film, while the latter produces a color space that’s larger than film. The inclusion of V-Log and V-Gamut lets you use the EVA1 in HDR and SDR production workflows. Recording Modes. The EVA1 offers up to 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling, even at 4K resolutions. You can capture in-camera footage in 4K (4096 × 2160), UHD (3840 × 2160), 2K (2048 × 1080), Full-HD (1920 × 1080), and HD (1280 × 720). The EVA1 also gives you up to 59.94 fps for 4K, up to 120 fps for 2K and Full-HD, or 240 fps with an image sensor crop. Records to SDXC Cards. This camera records to V60-rated SD cards (not included), which support all of its internal recording modes—even the 10-bit 4:2:2 AK modes. You get two card slots so that you can simultaneously record to two cards or continuously record from card to card. Electronic Image Stabilization. The EVA1’s built-in image-stabilization system helps keep your images clear and sharp, even when you’re shooting hand-held or shoulder-mounted. EF Lens Mount. This camera’s EF lens mount supports a wide array of popular manufacturers’ lenses. You can view a Panasonic-verified list of compatible lenses here. Please note that the auto-iris function may have more noise than what is acceptable in some shooting situations, causing Panasonic to recommend manual iris only for many compatible lenses. Additional Features. The EVA1 offers a range of imaging tools, including Waveform, Zebras, and Peaking. It gives you focus squares to help you achieve critical focus. You get dual XLR audio inputs; independently adjustable, 4K-capable HDMI and SDI video outputs; and timecode functionality. Finally, there are integrated, motorized ND and IR-cut filters. Need a Memory Card? You’ll need an ultra-fast memory card for a camera this powerful, and we recommend the Sony 128GB SF-G Tough Series UHS-II SDXC. This camera can take full advantage of its superior 299 MB/s max write speed and 300 MB/s max read speed for high-resolution, high-bitrate capture.
